Sarnia Fire Receive a $10,000 Grant from Enbridge

By City Staff

Sarnia Fire Rescue Services (SFRS) received a $10,000 grant from Enbridge’s Safe Community Program. Enbridge’s Safe Community Program awards grants to local first-response emergency services in communities located near their pipelines and facilities.

This grant will be used to upgrade Sarnia Fire Rescue’s newest fire engine currently in its design stage. SFRS’s new fire pumper with upgraded foam capabilities will help us to be better prepared for any emergency response within industry.
