July Events in the City of Sarnia

The City of Sarnia hosts many events in its parks, arenas, streets, and other facilities. Local events help support two of the City’s strategic priorities: economic innovation, and high quality of life and caring for all citizens.

Although Canada Day celebrations are complete, the City still has many upcoming July events. In an effort to share all the events occurring this month at City of Sarnia facilities, please see a list of the remaining July events, below.

Thursday, July 7 – Thursday, July 13, 2017

Exit Realty 10th Anniversary Family Movie Night – July 6 at 6:00 p.m. in Canatara Park.

Sarnia Kinsmen Ribfest – July 7- 9 at Centennial Park.
July 7 from 12:00 p.m. – 11:00pm.
July 8 from 12:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
July 9 from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Unleashed – July 8 from 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. on the Stoke’s Bay Lawn.

Kiwanis Kids Free Day at the Farm – July 8 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Canatara Park Animal Farm.

Noelle’s Gift Family Fun Day – July 8 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Tecumseh Park and Pool/Splash Pad.

Gospel by the Bay – July 9-30 at Centennial Park by the Sarnia & District Humane Society.

Vegfest – July 9 from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Canatara Park (open field).

3rd Annual Deker Bauer Memorial Skateboard, Scooter, and BMX Competition – July 15 at 11:00 a.m. in Tecumseh Park.

Doggie Paddle Beach Fest – July 15 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Canatara Park (open field), Beach Pavilion, and Bandshell.

The Inaugural Stephanie Shaw Memorial Ball Hockey Tournament – July 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Canatara Park (parking lot).

Hobbyfest – July 16 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Centennial Park, Suncor Agora, and waterfront.

Youth CHAT and City of Sarnia Outdoor Movie Night – July 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Clearwater Park.

Beats on the Street – July 21-22 at Julia Street Parking Lot.
July 21 from 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
July 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Bluewater Triathlon/Duathlon – July 21-22 at Wildwood Park & Old Lakeshore at various times.

Church in the Park and Picnic – July 23 at 10:00 a.m. in Canatara Park at the Seaway Kiwanis Wedding Pavilion.


Friday, July 28 – Thursday, August 3, 2017

Bluewater Borderfest – July 28-29 at Centennial Park.
July 28 from 5:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
July 29 gates open at 5:00 p.m., music begins at 6:00 p.m.

Hot August Nights Concert, Dance and Show Car Cruise Night – August 3 from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Canatara Park (open field).
