Waste and Recycling Survey
By City Staff
Residents are being asked to complete a survey to provide input into the future of the City’s waste and recycling programs.
The survey forms part of the public consultation process to gain feedback from households regarding current waste collection service as well as potential upcoming changes to waste collection, diversion, and legislation.
“We are looking for feedback on current waste collection services such as the weekly garbage bag limit, frequency of recycling pickup, frequency of brush collection, and the potential changes coming in the Waste Free Ontario Act,” explains Shawn Unsworth, Purchasing Manager.
The survey is available online at http://finance.smartsarnia.com/ or in person at City Hall. Surveys must be completed by October 4, 2017. A public input meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
