Apply to the UNDRIP Working Group

COUNCIL ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS TO THE UNDRIP WORKING GROUP

On September 11, 2017 Sarnia City Council approved the establishment of a working group with the mandate to develop a model of community consultation and a plan to implement the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) within the City of Sarnia.

The City of Sarnia is currently seeking members for the UNDRIP working group who have an interest in the project, and that will be broadly representational of multiple sectors within the community. The time commitment will be approximately 1.5 hours a month.

Applications are available on the City’s website at http://clerks.smartsarnia.com/.
