Santa Claus Parade

Residents and visitors are invited to the 2017 Santa Claus Parade on December 2nd, hosted by the Kinsmen Club of Sarnia. The parade begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Exmouth and Christina Street intersection, travels south on Christina Street, and turns left onto Wellington Street.

On-street parking will be prohibited at the following locations beginning at 3:00 p.m.:

  • Christina Street from Derby Lane to Wellington Street; and
  • Wellington Street from Christina Street to Stuart Street.

A road closure will occur at Christina Street from Michigan Avenue to Errol Road/Lite Street from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

50 floats are registered in this year’s parade, which celebrates a theme of “The Christmas Story.”

Parade attendees are asked to keep off of roadways and obey the rules of the road. Please ensure not to gather on roadway medians.
