Centennial Park Pedestrian Detour

By City Staff

Construction work at Centennial Park is underway and the public is reminded not to enter fenced construction zones.

Contaminated soil is now exposed on the construction site and public access is prohibited within the fenced areas. The Centennial Park promenade, between Harbour Road and Front Street, is fenced off, preventing public access.

Detour signs are posted on site instructing pedestrians to follow the detour route. The detour route, shown with red arrows, is outlined on the map below.

All businesses on Seaway Road and Harbour Road remain open.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience to those walking in the vicinity of the park and asks for the public’s cooperation during the construction period.
