Centennial Park Project Update - Partial Parking Lot Closure

A portion of the Centennial Park boat launch parking lot (located on Harbour Road) will be closed starting October 19, 2016. Access to the boat launch and portion of the parking lot will remain through a temporary road access. The City apologizes for any inconvenience.

Centennial Park construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2016.

Centennial Park Project phases complete:

  • Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment
  • Risk Assessment Study
  • Class Environmental Assessment
  • Several public consultation and information meetings
  • Remediation strategy plan and park concept
  • Remediation Action Plan
  • Centennial Park Site Remediation- Phase I
  • Sarnia Bay Marina Parking Lot Revamp

Centennial Park Project phases in progress:

  • Centennial Park Site Remediation- Phase II and III
  • Harbour Road/Centennial Park Watermain Project
  • Boat Launch Construction
