Reading of Water Meters if selling your house When selling your house, it is necessary to contact Bluewater Power to ensure the water meter is read on the closing date, and to provide your forwarding address for mailing of the final bill. Most water meters can be read from remote readers outside the house, but an appointment may be required (depending on the type of meter in the home), to meet our service agent in order to read the meter inside the house.
